As another year comes to a close, I find myself pausing—not to rush into goals or resolutions, but to reflect.
This past year asked a lot of me. We lost several of our beloved animals. We had ups and downs physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and financially. It invited growth, honesty, surrender, and trust. It stretched me in ways I didn’t always expect, especially in how I showed up for myself, my work, and the gifts I’m here to share. Rather than focusing only on what I did this year, I’ve been reflecting on who I became. Looking Back: Lessons from the Past Year This year reminded me that healing—whether for ourselves or our animals—is rarely linear. There were moments of deep connection, clarity, and expansion… and moments where I realized I had been dimming my own light. Not because I doubted my abilities, but because I wasn’t fully allowing myself to be seen (maybe out of fear or imposter syndrome). Through my work in Reiki, energy healing, EFT Tapping, animal communication, and holistic empowerment coaching, I witnessed powerful transformations—both in others and within myself. I saw how deeply animals mirror our emotional worlds, how energy shifts create real change, and how women stepping into their second act of life are ready to reclaim themselves in bold, beautiful ways. And still, I noticed places where I was playing small. That awareness alone felt like a turning point. Why I Chose a Word of the Year (Instead of a Resolution) For the first time, I consciously chose a Word of the Year instead of setting resolutions. Resolutions often feel rigid and rooted in “fixing.” A word, on the other hand, feels expansive, compassionate, and alive. My word for the year is: ✨Radiance✨ This word isn’t about doing more or becoming someone else. It’s about being—about how I want to move through my days, make decisions, and show up in my life and work. For me, this word represents:
Carrying This Energy Forward As I step into the new year, I’m committing to embodying this word in my relationships, my business, and my self-care. That means:
An Invitation for You As you reflect on your own year, I invite you to ask yourself:
Here’s to a new year guided by intention, alignment, and heart 💛
